The video of him in the hospital was shared by his co-star, Uche Jombo, who asked for prayers for his recovery. She wrote, “Please pray for our legend, Zack Orji. He collapsed on set today and was rushed to the hospital. He is stable now but needs our prayers. We love you, sir.”

Who is Zack Orji?
Zack Orji is a Nigerian actor, director, producer, and filmmaker. He has been in the movie industry for over 30 years, starring in hundreds of films and TV shows. He is one of the pioneers and pillars of Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry.
Zack Orji was born on October 10, 1960, in Libreville, Gabon. He grew up in Cameroon, Benin, and Togo, where he learned to speak French and English fluently. He studied Estate Management at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he also developed his passion for acting.
Zack Orji made his acting debut in 1991, in the movie “Unforgiven Sin”. Since then, he has featured in many popular and award-winning movies, such as “Glamour Girls”, “Rituals”, “Half of a Yellow Sun”, “Last Flight to Abuja”, and “Osuofia in London”.
