Afcon 2023 activities kicked off today January 13 2024 and for most Cameroonians they were waiting for their inlaws (Ivory Coast) to do better than what Cameroon did in January 2022.
Despite the efforts put in by the west African country, most Cameroonians think it was a mess.
It should be recalled that the organizing committee of AFCON 2021 in cameroon won the gold medal at the 12th edition of Global Events award held in the United States
It should equally be recalled that same as Nigeria is always at luggerhead with South Africa, so is Cameroon and Ivory Coast.
The AFCON opening ceremony saw a beautiful display of ivorian culture and stage performances from African artistes such as yemi alade, Dadju, Tayc, Josey etc. But for most Cameroonians it was a joke.
