The Ambazonians fighters kidnapped the deputy mayor of Balikumbat Passi Christopher Dobah who doubled as school Principal of GBHS Mbeunkong, while he was attending the funeral of an acquaintance.
His captors demanded 20 million CFA francs from his family who were only able to raise 3 million. The Ambazonians collected the money and still went ahead to execute their hostage promising to kill any administrator working for the government of Cameroon.
