Brother of renowned Ghanaian actress, Moesha Boduong, has started to solicit for funds to pay for his sister’s medical bills who has been struck by stroke.
Moesha Boduong, sparked controversy in 2018 when she told CNN that Ghanaian women depend on men for financial support, often through sexual relationships.
She faced backlash from many Ghanaians, especially celebrities, who accused her of portraying Ghanaian women in a bad light.
Some people, however, defended her and said she was telling the truth about the economic challenges faced by women in Ghana.

Amanpour, the CNN reporter, also stood by Buduong and urged the Ghanaian authorities to protect her from shaming and harassment.
Buduong later apologized for her comments and said she did not intend to offend anyone.
In an outing lately Buduong’s brother stated that his sister is on a recovery journey and needs financial support. He has created a GoFundMe account to do this.
“Hi, I’m Ebito. My sister Moesha Buduong recently had a life-altering stroke, and her journey to recovery has just begun.
Her life has been immensely affected by the stroke. It has impaired her mobility, speech, and overall quality of life. However, we believe that positive change can be brought about by the power of God, love, support, and community!” he added.
