In this blog post, we will explore how the top 10 universities in Africa 2024 were ranked by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings. The THE rankings are based on 13 performance indicators that measure teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income. These indicators are grouped into five areas: teaching (the learning environment), research (volume, income, and reputation), citations (research influence), international outlook (staff, students, and research), and industry income (knowledge transfer).
