In a heartfelt message on the GoFundMe page, Romero wrote on behalf of Sophia’s family, expressing their profound grief. “The sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock,” he stated. Details surrounding the cause of death remain unclear, as a local police investigation is ongoing.
Romero described Sophia as a cherished family member, highlighting her roles as a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. He further mentioned her love for travel and her ability to bring joy to those around her. The statement also revealed Sophia’s deep affection for animals, particularly her three pets.
Sophia’s passing has sparked considerable speculation online, as it marks the fourth such incident within the adult film industry in recent months. This news comes shortly after adult star Emily Willis, hospitalized on February 5th, revealed a critical health battle while on a ventilator.
