Jay Boogie, a popular Nigerian transgender and social media influencer, has revealed that he is in a critical condition after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery. He said that he has developed sepsis, a life-threatening infection, and that his two kidneys have failed.
The 25-year-old, who was born Daniel Anthony Nsikan, shared his ordeal on his Instagram page, where he has over 230,000 followers. He said that he had the BBL surgery in February 2023 in Lagos, but that he started having complications shortly after. He said that he was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with sepsis and kidney injury.
He said that he has been on dialysis for the past two months and that he needs a kidney transplant urgently. He also said that he has spent over 15 million naira on his medical bills and that he is running out of funds. He appealed to his fans and well-wishers to help him with donations and prayers.
