Jay Tucker is an electrical engineer and ex-husband of American singer and actress Jessica Betts popularly Know as Niecy Nash.
Early Life and Education
Jay Tucker was born in the United States in 1970 and is currently 53 years old. He graduated from Roxbury College with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering.
Career
After graduation, Tucker began his career as an applications engineer at APC-MGE in 1991. He has also worked for Emerson Network Power and GE Power before being appointed as the business development manager at Hammond Power Solutions in 2015.
Tucker is currently the executive director of the Center for Management of Enterprise in Media, Entertainment and Sports (MEMES) at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. In this role, he is responsible for the centre’s vision, thought leadership, educational offerings, and major events, including the annual PULSE conference and the MEMES Media, Entertainment and Sports Summer Institute. Tucker is also a marketer, educator, and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience in the technology, academic, and entertainment sectors.

Personal Life
Tucker is not a celebrity, but he gained some public attention after marrying Niecy Nash in 2011. The couple met at a Labor Day party in 2009 and got married in Malibu on May 28, 2011. They were the subjects of a TLC reality show that followed the preparations for their wedding. Unfortunately, the couple announced their separation in October 2019 and finalized their divorce in March 2020.
